The Foundations Reset · For Your Period · Labs Included

Your labs came back "normal." Your period says otherwise.

The PMS that starts the day you ovulate. The cramps you plan your week around. The cycle that shows up whenever it feels like it. None of that is in your head — there are patterns behind it, and they show up in your blood long before anyone calls them a problem.

Sound familiar?

You've tracked the app. Googled the symptoms. Been told your labs look fine.

Your period is a monthly report card on everything else. "In range" has never been the same as comfortable.

The shift

There's a difference between labs that rule out disease and labs that explain your cycle.

Conventional ranges are built to catch illness — and thank goodness they exist. But there's a wide stretch of territory between "sick" and "thriving," and that's where most women with rough periods live for years. Your cycle doesn't run on hormones alone: blood sugar, thyroid, iron, inflammation, and how well your body clears estrogen all show up in how your period behaves. That in-between territory has patterns. I've spent over a decade learning to read them.

Plate to Panel

Whole foods first. Labs always.

I will never hand you a stack of pills and wish you luck. At Her + Well, your panel tells me what your cycle is asking for — and your plate is how we deliver it. Real meals you can actually cook, chosen for the patterns showing up in your blood. Supplements are the supporting cast. The plate is the star.

The plate

Whole foods, built into weekly Meal Blueprints and plate feedback — because the most powerful thing you do for your hormones happens three times a day, in your own kitchen.

The panel

Your bloodwork is the map: which Dimmers are running, where your cycle is paying for it, and what your plate needs to prioritize first. No generic meal plans — yours is written by your own markers.

It's the whole philosophy — it's even the name of my podcast.

The Her + Well Method

Dimmers → CLEAR → Foundations

STEP ONE

Find your Dimmers

Your comprehensive panel — drawn at your local Quest, included — gets read through my six signature Dimmers: the bloodwork patterns quietly driving your PMS, your cramps, and the length of your cycle. When you see yours named on paper, the last five years of periods suddenly make sense.

STEP TWO

Follow your CLEAR Protocol

Drainage first, foundations always. Your personalized protocol supports the pathways your body uses to clear what's weighing it down — including the estrogen it's finished with — before we ask it to do anything else.

STEP THREE

Rebuild your Foundations

Twenty-eight days with my eyes on your plate and your cycle: weekly habit protocols, plate feedback, meal blueprints, and text support at your check-ins. Doing it with me — not figuring it out alone.

The six Dimmers

Six patterns I look for in every panel. Most women with rough periods are running two or three at once — and have been told each one separately looked fine.

The process

How it works

01.

Claim your seat

Enroll at the founding-round rate and get immediate access to your intake forms and preparation guide — your reset starts the moment you say yes.

02.

Complete your labs & intake

Visit your local Quest Diagnostics for your blood draw — no doctor's referral needed — and fill out your comprehensive health history. You handle the appointment; I handle the decoding.

03.

Receive your Dimmers Analysis

Your results come straight to me. I read them against optimal ranges, name the patterns behind your symptoms in your personal Her + Well Report, and build your pre-program protocol — so day one starts with a plan, not a guess.

04.

Your 28 days begin

Your round starts together: weekly habit protocols, plate feedback, meal blueprints, and text support at your check-ins. You leave with your 8-week personalized protocol so the results keep compounding.

Before you enroll

Let's make sure you're in the right room.

This is your room if…

  • You still have a cycle — or you want it back
  • PMS runs your week: the mood, the cravings, the tenderness, the whole show
  • Cramps, clots, or bleeds heavy enough that you plan your life around them
  • Your cycle is irregular, long, or has gone missing
  • You came off the pill and your period didn't come back the same
  • You've been told PCOS — or you suspect it — and want to understand your own labs
  • You're in your 30s or 40s and your cycle has started changing on you

I'm not your girl if…

  • You're menopausal and no longer getting a period — this one's built for women who still cycle, or want to
  • You're looking for mold, Lyme, or complex chronic illness work — that deserves a practitioner who lives in that world, and I'll happily point you toward one
  • You want a diagnosis, a prescription, or medication management — that's your physician's lane, and I work alongside her, not instead of her
  • You want a meal plan handed to you without anyone looking at your labs

I'm not a generalist, and I don't want to be. Periods are the thing I've spent over a decade on — and the women who get the most out of this room are the ones whose first sentence to me is about their cycle.

After the reset

Day 29 isn't a door closing.

Your cycle doesn't run on a 28-day deadline — it runs in cycles, plural. So when your round ends, you have somewhere to keep going, at whatever pace your life allows.

Your protocol keeps evolving

Optional protocol updates when your body is ready for the next layer — or when you re-run labs and want fresh eyes on the numbers.

You keep your seat in the Tribe

Three months inside the Her + Well Tribe is included: hormone-balancing recipes, my dispensary, and member articles. The room stays open.

The self-paced course, inside

A go-at-your-own-pace continuation living in the Tribe, so the foundations keep compounding long after day 28.

Meet your practitioner

Hi, I'm Dr. Monique — your girlfriend with a doctorate.

DC · FBCA · Integrative Nutritionist

Doctor of Chiropractic. Functional Blood Chemistry Analyst. Integrative Nutritionist with a passion for periods, hormones, and gut health. Former science teacher, former athlete, and over a decade in women's health.

I built Her + Well because I was tired of watching women be told their labs were fine while their periods clearly weren't.

I read blood the way I used to teach science: so you actually understand it — and so you never have to outsource your own body again.

From your plate to your panel — we build it together.

Questions, answered

My doctor already ran labs and said I'm fine.
Wonderful — that rules out the scary stuff, and I'll never ask you to step away from your doctor's care. What I do is different: I read your markers against optimal ranges and look for the patterns behind symptoms, not diseases. Fine and optimal are two different finish lines.
How do the labs work?
Once you enroll, you'll receive a requisition for your local Quest draw site — no doctor's referral needed. Results come directly to me, and your Dimmers Analysis kicks off your 28 days.
What about supplements?
Your protocol may include targeted supplement suggestions, typically $75–100, ordered through my professional dispensary. Always run new supplements by your healthcare provider — I'll say that every time, because it matters.
How much time does this take?
Check-ins and plate photos take minutes, not hours. The program is built for women with full plates — pun intended.
I'm on the pill or have a hormonal IUD — can I still do this?
Yes, and I'll be straight with you about what we can and can't see. Hormonal contraception changes how a few of the sex-hormone markers read, so I'll interpret those with that context — while thyroid, iron, blood sugar, inflammation, and nutrient status all still tell us plenty. Whether to stay on it is a conversation for you and your prescriber, never a condition of working with me.
I think I have PCOS — or I've been told I do.
This is my favorite room to be in. I don't diagnose — that's your physician's role — but I read the patterns that so often sit underneath it: insulin, androgens, LH and FSH, inflammation, thyroid. Then we build your plate and protocol around what's actually on your panel instead of a generic PCOS handout.
I'm in perimenopause. Is this still for me?
If you're still cycling — even if it's become unpredictable, heavier, or shorter — yes, this is exactly the window it's built for. If your period has been gone for a year or more, this particular program isn't the right fit, and I'd rather tell you that than take your money.
How long until I actually see a change in my period?

Here's the real timeline, not the marketing one.

Your body is built to cycle, and a cycle isn't built in a month. The egg you ovulate this month started its final stretch of development roughly 90 to 100 days ago — meaning the period you're having right now was set in motion about three months back, under whatever conditions your body had to work with then. Your red blood cells run on a similar clock, turning over about every 120 days. Your body works in quarters, not weeks.

So when we change what's coming in — the food, the minerals, the blood sugar stability, the drainage — we're influencing the cycles that haven't happened yet. What that usually looks like:

Cycle 1: symptoms move first — bloating, energy, PMS that doesn't hit as hard.
Cycles 2–3: the cycle itself starts responding — timing, flow, cramping.
Cycles 3–4: this is where it holds. Not a good month. A new baseline.

That's why 28 days is the foundation, not the finish line — you leave with an 8-week protocol and a room to keep going in, because the fourth cycle is usually the one that makes you say oh, this is actually different.

And everyone starts somewhere different. A woman with a 30-day cycle and one stubborn symptom will move faster than a woman whose period has been missing for a year. Neither one is behind.

What happens after the 28 days?
You leave with your 8-week personalized protocol and 3 months inside the Her + Well Tribe. From there it's your call: keep going with optional protocol updates as your body shifts, and keep building through the self-paced course inside the Tribe. Nobody gets handed a PDF and waved goodbye.
What if I can't make this round?
Seats are capped at 7 and rounds open regularly. If a round is full, join the waitlist from my homepage and you'll get first access before doors open publicly.
